Traci and Luke’s wedding at Salishan Resort

Another beautiful fall/winter wedding to report on. Shooting Traci and Luke’s wedding was a great experience because it was so intimate and personal. When shooting at small weddings I feel that as the photographer I get to know the couple a little better, and interact with almost all the guests. For that reason I think it is really important for the photographer and the couple to click and be on the same page. I got to spend time with Traci when taking promotional pictures of her band and time with Traci Luke and Dylan for engagement/family pictures. Having that time with them made the wedding day go great. I especially liked getting to know Dylan. Such a funny kid!

Also making run smoothly Susan Duyck from Blush Bridal Group. Highly recommended.

Erin and Matt’s wedding at Beckenridge Vineyard in Oregon

I don’t know why more Oregon brides don’t choose to get married in the Fall. Is there anything more beautiful that the colors of a vineyard in the Fall? This the third wedding I’ve been able to shoot at Beckenridge, and the venue never disappoints. I also had a chance to work with Morgan from A Time 4 Memories which was a great experience.

Marta and Mike’s Newport Beach, California Wedding

I had a great time this weekend as Marta and Mike had me fly to Southern California for their wedding at a private residence at Newport Beach. I always love heading down to the L.A. area because my Grandma lives there and not only do I get to shoot a great couple, but I get to spend some quality time with my Grandma as well. One thing I loved about Mike and Marta’s wedding is that since it was a little foggy/misty we got to play with that in the pictures which give them a dreamy look that I really like.

Sari and Tim’s Oregon Wedding Videography

You may have already seen Sari and Tim’s wedding pictures, and now I’m thrilled to show a preview of their wedding video. Sari and Tim booked a wedding package that included both photography and videography together. We filmed the entire day, along with taking still pictures and then blend them together in a final video that includes all the sights and sounds of their wedding day.

Kate and Pete’s Wedding at Zenith Vineyard

Shooting Kate and Pete’s wedding last Saturday was a blast. They not only had a great time, but their guests really let it all hang out at the party. Zenith Vineyard is one of my favorite places to shoot in Oregon. Always a great wedding venue.

McMenamins Cornelius Pass Roadhouse Wedding: Brie and Matt

Loved Brie and Matt’s wedding last Sunday at the Cornelius Pass Roadhouse in the Octagonal Barn. They were so fun and genuine. I loved how their personality shown through in a lot of the little details of the day. Also, getting to work with Kami Augilar from Wed Portland is always a treat. From performing emergency sewing on the bride’s dress to arranging table to even doing a little ipod DJ’ing, Kami handles weddings with a sense of calm and ease. Thyme Garden Wedding in Alsea Oregon: Sara and Stephen

How have I not shot a wedding here before? Sara and Stephen had a beautiful ceremony and reception on the picturesque property of the the Thyme Garden. The facility is absolutely beautiful and run by a family who also does all the cooking. The food was great and the service spectacular. It all allowed for a wonderful evening that was filled with lots of friends and happy moments.

Corvallis Wedding: Rose and Steve

Rose and Steve had a very touching wedding. One of my favorite parts was when Steve’s sister sang a song for them during the ceremony. Even though it was not in English, the meaning and emotion came through so strong there was not a dry eye in the house. Rose and Steve were married at a private residence and I think really showed what you can do with a little imagination and a lot of work. They did all the decorating themselves along with a lot of help from friends and family.

Loloma Lodge Wedding: Oliva and Hyatt

Where to begin? Olivia and Hyatt were one married in one of my favorite locations in Oregon. Anything along the Mckenzie River Highway is beautiful and Loloma Lodge didn’t disappoint. Also I was very excited to work with Raina Powell Events as I think Corvallis has really needed a top notch wedding coordinator.

Beazell Memorial Forest Wedding: Talia and Rory

Talia and Rory had a beautiful wedding near Corvallis at Beazell Memorial Forest. The setting was quite appropriate as trees were a big part of their theme from the cake platter, to the program. It was a lot of fun to document their joining of both Scottish and Oregon traditions.
